The Book of Zechariah is an important prophetic book in the Old Testament. It contains messages about hope, restoration, encouragement, and God’s plans for the future. Zechariah chapter 1 begins with God calling his people to return to Him. He reminds them not to make the same mistake that their ancestors made. Then Zechariah sees a vision of horsemen among myrtle trees. This vision shows that God knows what is happening in the world and cares about his people and Jerusalem. 

Then the main message is simple: Turn back to God, trust him, and follow his ways.

Chapters 2- 6: Visions of Hope and Restoration

Chapters 2 to 6 of Zechariah contain several visions that gave hope to the people as they rebuilt Jerusalem and the temple. Zechariah sees a man measuring Jerusalem, which shows that God had plans to protect and bless the city.
