Numbers is the fourth book of the bible, which continues the story of the Israelites’ journey from Mount Sinai to the borders of the promised land. As the Israelites continue their journey, they face many things, also they face battles and challenges. God was with them in every battle and challenge and provided them victory over their enemies by showing his power and protection. When people complain again, a poisonous snake appears, but god provides healing through the bronze serpent, which is lifted by Moses. Later, Israel falls into sin with Moab, which brings god’s judgment. 

These chapters tell that victory comes through faith and obedience, whereas sin brings painful challenges and difficulties.

In these chapters of Numbers, when the Israelites reach near the Promised Land, God commands them to take a second census to prepare the new generation for entry.
