Praise the lord, everyone. My name is Shiv Shankar Tiwari, my father’s name is Shri Gauri Shankar Tiwari, and my brother’s name is Rama Shankar Tiwari, who is currently living in Chattisgarh. Initially, I was a non-believer, because I belong to a proper Hindu pandit family, who do all the rituals in temples, and don’t even know about Jesus Christ, but something happened in my life which changed my entire perception toward God & Holy Spirit. Today I will tell my testimony of how I came the believe in Jesus Christ, and how he changed my heart.
I believe, when you start having faith in Jesus, he will listen to you and also answer all your questions, because he has chosen you from the womb of your mother, for his work. As the bible also says, “Before I was born the Lord called me; from my mother’s womb He has spoken my name.” (Isaiah 49:1).
Here I’ll share my testimony with you all that how God changed my entire life through his miracle, so that your belief in Jesus Christ can get stronger, and from my testimony, many people get blessed and more souls are saved in the name of Jesus.

My Life Changing Testimony
I belong to a proper Hindu family. My grandfather was a priest in the temple. In Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur, there is a very ancient temple named Gauri Shankar Mandir. In this temple, my grandfather used to worship all gods, perform all the rituals like havan, aarti, etc. in the backyard of the temple, and he had given a small house to live in. Later, he got married, had a son, and even I was also born in the temple. So all the generations, like my father, me, and my brother, were born in the temple, and being the grandson and son of a priest, we also used to do all the things that a normal priest’s son does. Being a Hindu child, I had always been taught that there are a total of 33 crores gods and goddesses of ours, which we should worship. But from childhood, one question arises in my mind:” Who is my God, whom I call whenever, and he will answer all my prayers and solve all my problems?”. So, having this question, I asked my grandfather, who is my personal God (eisth deveta), he answered, “Son, your answer is in your name “. As I was born on 29 February 1984, and it was Shivaratri day, that’s why they kept my name ‘Shiv Shankar’. Here, my grandfather indirectly told me that your one and only god is Shiv, and you should worship him.
As I was growing, this question was also growing, and to get the answer to it, my curiosity level increased day by day. When any priest and guruji came to my home, I always used ot ask them this question, ‘who is my personal god’, then they looked at my palm lines, forehead lines, and also my birth chart, after that they told me to worship Krishna, do Durga path, and many more. I have done everything, but I still have not gotten the right answer to this particular question.
Later I was about to do my graduation studies, I got selected in the top Business college of India, where I got admission in a Bachelor’s in hospital administration, and after graduation, I pursued post-graduation in the same stream, Master’s in hospital administration in 2004.
After the completion of my graduation in 2004, I met a girl who was in the same college, she told me that” you’ve so many questions about who is your personal god, etc etc, why dont you ask Jesus christ and ask all the questions that comes on your mind, he will definitely give you answer and may be you will get that for what you are looking for so many time.” As she completed her words, I took it very lightly & offensively, and told her that I can worship Jesus along with all the gods whom I have been worshiping since my childhood, but if you say to worship only Jesus Christ and leave all my gods & goddesses, then that is not possible, I can’t do that.
Then time passed and my post graduation was completed in 2008, and luckily I got placed in India’s top hospital, Apollo hospital, and that girl was also placed in the same hospital. Everything was going good, and being a normal person, I have done everything that I shouldn’t have to do, and enjoyed the worldly things. Later after some days, suddenly my weight and size was increasing, and iticing and infection called ‘ring worm’ infected in my whole body, and also I have diagnosed with the stomach problem which kept me ill for so many days, after that I went to doctor for the treatment, seeing my all reports he said that I have only 1 and half months to live, which almost means 45 days, and after that I’ll die. After getting this news from the doctor, I was shocked and I used to cry for the whole night every day, which made me more weak from inside.
One night after having dinner, I went to sleep and started crying under the blanket and then suddenly I saw some light and I saw that there was light from outside, and it was morning time, so that time passed very early. Later, when I went to the hospital for some work, the girl I met in 2004 met me again in 2008, got to know about my condition, and she asked me to come to the prayer tower with her, because that’s the only place where you get healed. So when she said this, I thought I’ve tried everything to save my life, then I should also try this, as she is saying for the second time, so I went to the prayer tower with her.
When we arrived, it looked like a corporate office. There was a receptionist, and on the wall there was a picture of Jesus Christ. Then the receptionist gave me a paper where I have to write my problems and prayer request, at last I’ve to sign, then I submit it to them.
After some time a prayer warrior came to me by holding a bible in her hand, after a conversation with her of almost 30-40 minutes I wanted to cry, even I was trying to not cry but I could not stop my self from crying and then started crying from my whole heart like a small kid, and I while crying I was saying,” God please save me, i dont want to die”. When I was crying the prayer warrior and the girl with me also started crying, and they were praying for me by keeping hand on my head, and suddenly I hear a voice which came from my inside, that ‘ open your eyes’, when I opened my eyes, I saw that there was no picture of Jesus christ in the wall, and suddenly my eyes stopped at one person who was looking very different from us, and he was looking at me, his eyes were so beautiful that I cannot even elaborate, and yes he was Jesus christ who was looking at me and saying me that son you are mine, & I’ll never let you alone.
After stepping out from the prayer tower, my entire life changed, whether it’s spiritually or worldly, and also Jesus Christ saved my life, and now I’m alive from that day, and completely free from all the disease because God has taken all my problems and given me peace. And one more thing, the girl who had saved my life not only my body but also my spiritual life is now my wife. I married her, as God has sent her to save my life like an angel. And now we, both husband and wife, are spreading the word of god all over the world. As the bible says, “When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.”(John 11:4).
So, this is my testimony of how God had selected me before I knew him, and took me away from that disease and gave me a beautiful life. I hope when you read my testimony, your trust in god will get stronger, and by this testimony, many souls will be saved in the name of the Almighty Father. Praise the lord.
